It is the moral, ethical, and yes legally right for Democratic States and Cities to engage in Soft Secession by withholding federal taxes. This would not violate the Supremacy Clause, has immense precedent in US history, & the time to act is NOW.

Someone explain to me WTF happened at the Minneapolis DFL convention on Sat. I no longer live in Mpls (Roseville) but I was involved in Mpls DFL stuff for 15 yrs & was an organizer for Rybak at the 2005 convention which was nutty. Are the Frey folks loony? What the fresh hell is going on over there?

As long as I live I will never understand how Alito & Thomas can sit on the highest Court. Say what you will about the other 4 GOP appointees, but all of them at ONE point or another have exercised a modicum of decency in their rulings. The other two are evil incarnate. Fascist, ignorant, demonic.

I’m fairly adept at public extemporaneous speaking - for like 15 minutes. Then my palms get sweaty, I tend to wander or fix on a dumb alliteration or joke or something - and I can’t wait to get off stage. What Sen Booker is doing is nothing short of miraculous. Thank you, Senator. #senatorbooker
