This part. It’s easy to blow up boats several hundred miles away and justify it as fighting “terror”. Much harder to call drone strikes on the boarder and not call it war.
One reason that the Trump administration started GWOT on narcos by blowing up boats in the Caribbean rather than drone strikes on cartels in Mexico is that some officials in the admin understand the potential fallout from such U.S. military action in Mexico, including for cooperation on migration.

I think I figured out the Tucker Kraft comp. (to me)
It's Jeremy Shockey. Kraft doesn't have the same explosiveness as Kittle but has the same MFer attitude as both. He's a heavy duty truck in the open field, the fast guys will catch him, but takes multiple to take him down. And he LOVES contact.
