one of the craziest things about Kingdom Hearts 1 to me is the secret ending is a CGI music video of shit made entirely on vibes and then Nomura and co. backfilled what it all meant when they got the go-ahead to make more games and went out of their way to put the quotes from it into the KH2 script

they didn't need AI to make Silksong, it just needed some deeply insane guys to have a blank check for living expenses until their next thing was done, I think we should try doing more of that instead

Are you suggesting, Mr. Stone, that it is merely through the grace of little baby Jesus that you just HAPPEN to have on hand at most times at least two Pokemon that, through mere fortunate coincidence, just HAPPEN to handily check Fire, Ground, and Fighting types?!
I am levelling fraud accusations towards Mr. Steven Stone of Mossdeep City, I saw his alleged Steel-type specialist ass using an Archeops in the Pokemon World Tournament

there is a reason librarians very intentionally don't record this information. this is that reason
Officials in Tennessee aren't just banning books, they're now demanding information on who checked out contested (largely LGBTQ+) books, including names, addresses, and "household composition."

A librarian who was given the directive has come forward asking for whistleblower protections.
Tennessee whistleblower says library board chair sought private data as part of state's book purge
A First Amendment expert told The Advocate that there are "huge" legal implications stemming from the situation.

We spoke to a dozen professional concept artists who are currently or have previously worked in game development about whether generative AI image tools have made their jobs any easier.

Zero said it did. Most said it made things harder.

I'll also add this very much falls in line with and exacerbates an issue the industry constantly runs against of executives and upper management being unable to work with and take rough cuts, constantly demanding more and more "finished" looking pieces early in the process, to the detriment of it
