So presuming Musk refused to remove Grok from UK X users, this would oblige UK ISPs to block X and Apple/Google to remove it from their app stores?

This is obviously the right decision.

It should spark a wider conversation about social media platforms. We clearly can't - and shouldn't - just rely on the responsibility of the owners.

Just back from local hospital for a routine ultrasound screening.
Appointment at 13.40, told it would take 20 minutes.
Called in on time and out by 13.58. I wouldn't fault a single aspect of the treatment.
Many parts of our NHS still operate incredibly well.
Would have been billed $450 in the US.

I love this idea but I can’t help reflecting that I had to put up with a decade of ‘electric cars will melt the grid’ nonsense. Now we know AI data monsters will mash the grid to pulp and it’s all ‘let’s panic and build more generation.’ Lovely.

This is the danger of having a leader who is utterly shameless - there is no way he can comprehend hypocrisy - this is what we will get if Farage wins , which is why we need strong opposition that is not obedient to Farage’s talking points

The Telegraph highlighting - yet missing - two vital points here.

1) We're not calling for £476m to be spent. It already is - this is about diverting it to actually helping.

2) Why "cruelty" in question? The £476m we're spending is part of an operation tear gassing babies.
