The UK has lost its measles elimination status, the World Health Organization has announced.

Vaccine disinformation is a worldwide pandemic that is killing us.

7yo gave me an unpleasant shock y’day by chiming in on Greenland saying “Donald Trump didn’t actually use violence and he only wants to protect it from Russia & China” - after I’d calmed down I tried to work out where he’s been hearing this bullshit. Turns out it’s bloody BBC Newsround!

Another chilling shooting by a federal agent in Minneapolis, this time of a nurse. My heart goes out to Alex Pretti's family.

We cannot let Nigel Farage and Reform import Trump’s dark politics to the UK.

Worth remembering when looking at the horrific scenes in the US right now that both Reform and the Tories have pledged to bring in ICE-style organisations to the UK if they win power

They know what they say is untrue, they do not care it is untrue.

The media know that what they repeat is untrue, they do not care it is untrue.

Their supporters know what they are told is untrue, they do not care it is untrue.

Telling the truth is not enough, unless people care about the truth.

I’ve signed a cross-party letter urging the Government to reconsider compensation for WASPI women.

The Liberal Democrats have stood with WASPI women from the start — and I’ll keep pushing for justice.

The top down, Westminster-centric approach to how we build houses is not the answer.

The Liberal Democrats will always favour a bottom up approach, working with communities, like we did in the Vale of White Horse.

Neighbourhood planning is the way forward.

So far the "Board of Peace" is Trump, Orban, Lukaschenko and Netanyahu.

Which if you wrote in a satire would be considered too outlandish and sent back.

We cannot allow Donald Trump to undermine NATO. He seeks to shift the focus away from Ukraine and takes us back to a world where 'might makes right'. I welcome the UK Government standing up to Trump over Greenland.

I think the White House badly underestimates the strength of the pan-European folk memory of 1930s appeasement, and how deep it still cuts. I suppose this is what happens when you learn in school that WW2 started in 1941 in Hawaii.

Yes, there are two Nobel Committees. The one in Norway awards the Peace Prize. The one in Sweden awards the other prizes.

Neither have anything to do with Denmark, let alone Greenland.
