Super Bowl viewers Sunday speculated that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos appeared in the halftime show. In fact, he has been in hiding with his family.

“He can’t sleep well at night. He wakes up three or four times a night screaming, ‘Daddy, Daddy,’” Liam's father Adrian Conejo Arias, said.

While reporting this, I had something happen that's never happened. A comms rep for one of the co's disputed my reporting and said what I was telling them was untrue because it was not in Grok, xAI's chatbot.

I was looking directly at the files. And this person was using AI to challenge the truth.
Epstein had many known connections to Silicon Valley CEOs, but less known was how he made money from those relationships.

We did a deep dive into how he got dealflow in Silicon Valley, giving him shots to invest in Coinbase, Palantir, SpaceX and other companies.

New from me:
What’s going on in ICE detention isn’t just lethal (a 20-year high of 32 deaths last yr; 2 in a single facility this yr).
It’s leading countless people to “choose” to give up their cases. Which was the core of Miller’s ‘23 mass deportation plan. linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%...

I keep coming back to this clip as a symbol of the Democratic Party’s challenges. Murphy correctly says ICE “is not about safety or immigration, but a pretext for Trump to take over.”

Given this fact, Democratic leadership’s reform and fund plan makes no sense.
Pam Bondi just sent a letter to Minnesota officials saying ICE will leave if the state turns over its voter database to Trump.

Guess what? This has never been about safety or immigration. It’s a pretext for Trump to take over elections in swing states.

Obama out here like "here's a podcast" while Bernie + AOC did an entire ass "Fight Oligarchy" tour 😭😭

Only one of these approaches is serious 💀
Here’s a podcast that does a good job of laying out what’s at stake, and why all of us need to get off the sidelines to demand change.

The number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents has doubled over the past year -- driven by a massive recruitments campaign. Who the new recruits are and how they’re being trained.

New: DHS now says that two weeks of missing surveillance footage from ICE's Broadview Detention center isn't "missing," it was never recorded in the first place and thus can't be produced in an abuse lawsuit. An utter shitshow:

Sorry, but I'm in the "political stunts are good, actually" camp. Chris Van Hollen in El Salvador. Under no illusions Obama can change things by himself, but why not try, and I think it would get media attention and probably help. Point is, few can try this. He can. He should. That letter was nada.
