Weed has to be the most "meh" drug I've ever done. Really interesting things happen with molly and mushrooms and LSD. I mean, the same is true of cocaine - it's a helluva a drug - but compared to the others I mentioned cocaine makes you appear to be an asshole to everyone; the others don't.

They're "working on it" but who knows where they'll end up. I think the biggest motivation for cargo airship use was reduced climate impact compared to shipping & aircraft cargo but when countries like the USA are actively removing climate protection measures... *shrug*.

I know we stopped filling them with explodey hydrogen, and they're not really suitable for passengers - but they may be having a renaissance for cargo.

(There are only about 25 of past "blimps" still in service, and only 3 of those registered in the USA.)

1. I've had a surprising number of conversations about Covid-19 over the past week or so, all sparked by the fact that I was, as always, wearing an FFP2 respirator. People in healthcare facilities, taxi drivers, people on trains and buses.

the thing with AI adoption in big companies is that it isn’t necessarily forced, but it’s encouraged heavily. And the people who jump up most enthusiastically to push adoption all seem to be the people least confident in their value to the company. AI is just a loser aggregator

The guy I use for odd jobs around the house is amazing; in the last month alone he’s repaired a leaky roof, fixed the broken gate, retiled the bathroom and according to my wife it was him that somehow managed to reverse my vasectomy, too!
