I don't know who needs to hear this, but cops are not allowed to shoot people just because you didn't do what they said.

It occurs to me that part of my reaction to Superman (2025) is just that after decades of grimdark it's nice to see the hero of a movie be all "I am good, and I want to be good, and I have a heart, and a wear it on my sleeve and I believe in being good, and I care damnit. I just... I care so much."
