4) A bystander approaches the scene after the shooting.
"Back up!" someone says.
"I'm a physician!" the man yells.
The next words sound like "I don't care" but it's a little unclear.
Then, "Give us a second."

3) Shortly after the shooting, several agents -- possibly including Ross -- hop into an unmarked SUV and flee the scene.

I can't begin to describe how improper this is for an active investigation. Normally, you'd separate the witnesses so they don't, erm, get their stories to coincide.

2) The next two shots, which seem more likely to have been the fatal ones, were fired from the side, while Ross was clearly out of danger.

The Minn Star Trib has an excellent frame-by-frame analysis of the Good homicide.

A couple things (also noted elsewhere) stand out. 🧵:

1) ICE agent Ross's first shot, when he *might* have felt in danger, hit 'the bottom corner of the driver’s side windshield.'

Research shows that as little as 300 grams of debris — or two-thirds of a pound — “could catastrophically destroy an aircraft,” said Aaron Boley, a professor at the University of British Columbia.
