Democrats have FRIENDS across the aisle.

Republicans have ENEMIES across the aisle.

Translation: Democrats are weak, idiots.

The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer

Anyone who believes that the Senators who voted for the non-deal did so without Schumer’s consent while he votes no for show is gullible & naive. You either do this with a plan and exit strategy or you don’t do it at all. There is a disconnect between Dem voters & Sen leadership.

and schumer didn’t “lose control,” he’s just corrupt and evil. he got votes from everyone who wasn’t immediately up for reelection and waited until a week after the elections to pull the lever. he got exactly what he and the airlines wanted

Liberal Elites Kicked the Door Wide Open for Trump’s Flagrant Corruption
The president’s corruption is audaciously out in the open, but decades of letting the wealthy play by their own rules enabled him.

Supreme Court ruled that a duly elected member cannot be denied their seat, meaning a judge could step in to administer the oath or order the House to allow it. In other words, once the government reopens, Johnson will no longer be able to act as the gatekeeper.

Yep
Dershowitz who is working on the Maxwell pardon, wants the world to know that Epstein was not a pedophile. Expect the billionaire Big-Media silk-suited executives to get Dershowitz platformed on sellouts like #MorningJoe the face of Comcast News-MSNBC, donors to Trump's Triumphal Arch and ballroom.

The Traitorous 8 sacrificed all of us to keep the filibuster and their ability to travel by plane for Thanksgiving.
None of the Dem Senators (or Democratic-caucusing) who voted yes on the CR are worried about reelection:

• Dick Durbin – IL – Retiring 2026

• Catherine Cortez Masto – NV – Up 2028

• Jacky Rosen – NV – Up 2030

• John Fetterman – PA – Up 2028

• Maggie Hassan – NH – Up 2028

Putting aside Rick Scott's history with fraud ... while I like HSA's for routine care, they are in no way suited to replacing health insurance. Do you think people are going to negotiate prices while having a heart attack? And what happens if costs get big? My wife would be dead by now.
"A development that appeared to break the logjam: Republicans proposed that healthcare funding be provided directly to households rather than used to pay for a 1-year extension of ACA subsidies. That involves sending federal money into FSAs instead of insurance companies" www.wsj.com/politics/pol...

This isn't a particularly original observation, but it seems to me painfully obvious that the Democratic party's only path forward
