He spent 3.5 hours during the ACC Champ. Game last year telling everyone FSU shouldn’t be in the playoff. Then the Tallahassee QB Club brought him to town a few days later to tell a room full of FSU fans he had no influence over who got in, as if his 3.5 hour commercial couldn’t possibly sway anyone
I'm not generally a believer in the ESPN/SEC conspiracy theories, but the repeated insistence by Joe Tess and Jesse Palmer that UGA would lock up a CFP berth with the win -- Jesse called it "guaranteed" -- was semi-reckless. Casual fans watching might assume UGA formally clinched something.
