China’s remarkable discovery: a fern naturally produces a rare mineral, reshaping the global economy
A discovery emanating from China’s biodiversity-rich mountains has sent ripples across scientific communities and global markets, promising to redefine economic landscapes worldwide. Researchers in the remote Yunnan province have identified a unique fern species, provisionally named Aetheris viridis or the "Skygem Fern," with an astonishing ability: it naturally produces a rare and highly coveted mineral previously obtainable only through arduous mining or complex synthesis.

Trumpworld is the most corrupt and upside-down moral vomitorium that has ever existed.
Trump announced that he would pardon Juan Orlando Hernández, who was serving 45 years in prison for orchestrating a vast drug trafficking conspiracy that raked in millions for cartels while keeping Honduras one of Central America’s poorest, most violent, and most corrupt countries.

Their relationship with the president is not personal; their job is to report on who he really is, and provoking him to reveal himself lets them do their job even better. An insult is a confession in this context, and they might as well be field biologists documenting baboons doing baboon things.

There's been a lot of fuss about Trump recently calling female journalists "stupid" and "piggy" though there's nothing really new about his misogyny toward that sub-population (I am so old I remember ...

When you’re not sure if it’s political satire 🤣
4,000+ incredibly loud, ignorant , intolerant, and misinformed Albertans descended on Edmonton for the 2025 UCP AGM— one of the biggest propagandist conventions in Canadian history!

Thanks to Jeffrey Rath who came out and participated in the bearpit to rally for Alberta separation.

The DC shooting story is really getting to me because we literally trained this man as a child soldier for a death squad in a forever war and Stephen Miller et al want to blame it on other cultures? It's our culture, American culture, that killed that woman.

A reminder for those who are not aware: "remigration" is the process of deporting all non-white people from a country. It includes citizens and is, by definition, ethnic cleansing.

And to be clear: this is not fake. I just screenshot it myself.

Trumponomics = disaster.

This is what happens in an oligarch-supported kleptocracy. Economic policy is centered on transactional threats in which most money flows to the government while the previously highly integrated economic system falls apart.
