CBS will now lie…

Sounds about right.

The CBS takeover by Larry Ellison and Bari Weiss is the most foreboding move in a while, and I’m not saying that lightly.

It will have an effect on the 2026 elections: CBS will now lie to people and normies will believe it.

To close a Wells Fargo A/C, you must have a zero balance and no pending transactions. You can call customer service at 1-800-869-3557, visit a branch with valid ID, or by mail a completed Account Closure Request form if you are outside the U.S. Wells Fargo does not allow account closures online.

"surely I, a layperson without a legal degree, cannot parse the august mind of John Roberts": not actually true! try it sometime, your "wow this is some bullshit" instinct is just as correct as any actual lawyer's

But also, yes, you'd be surprised how accessible the bullshit this Court writes is! You mostly don't need to know technical legal precedents and doctrines (although that does help), just to be able to read a paragraph and say "wait that made no fucking sense, dafuq did I just read??"

Unfortunately, I think we have to accept that this is true now.

They are trying to “officially“ lock in as much of their agenda as possible before the inevitable societal backlash.

But undoing it with legitimate procedures will take a lot longer than their doing it with illegitimate procedures.

They are not judges and we need to stop referring to them as judges.

They are Republican apparatchiks masquerading as judges.

The next normal administration, should we survive as a “country”, is simply going to have to ignore their “rulings”.

There’s just not enough attention being paid to how unqualified, psychologically unfit, and dangerous so many of these new ICE hires potentially are.

If we had a Congress, there’d be investigations & oversight into this.

This is Mayor Bruce Harrell’s fault. This is Council President Sara Nelson’s fault. This is City Attorney Ann Davidson’s fault.

They are cruel. They would rather waste money brutalizing homeless people than help them. Vote them out in November

NEW: After paying for hotel rooms to shelter homeless people, Seattle deliberately left them vacant.

By the end of 2024, taxpayers were spending $4,200 a month per empty room at a time when thousands of residents were without a roof over their heads.
Seattle Spent Millions on Hotel Rooms to Shelter Unhoused People. Then It Stopped Filling Them.
Early last year, the city signed a $2.7 million lease extension to continue using a hotel’s rooms as shelter space. Yet despite committing to pay the rent, the city stopped sending people there.

I think it's immoral when well off secure middle aged people blithely tell young people with not many resources that they should just move. It's not that easy. 2/3
