Holy bulgogi!

I did NOT expect such a surge of followers. If you're just following me for the first time:

I skeet about housing, tech and identity. My biggest pet peeves are modern day segregation and opportunity hoarding along lines of race and class. Esp here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
If you have noticed the quality of ads on your fav apps has now become a cesspool, it only stands to reason that spammers and scammers are becoming more central to the business model.

Wow just when I thought the pet store aspect was so wholesome and unimpeachable.

Any criticisms of our scientifically untenable definitions will be met with accusations of woke.

People want to avoid ultra-processed foods. But experts struggle to define them
The evidence that ultra-processed foods are bad for us is piling up. But efforts to reduce their role in our diets face a big hurdle: experts can't agree on what they are and which to target.

Perfectly sums up Silicon Valley's moral logic: kill the cyclist to save a life, make machines more situationally humane even if their dominance is what is killing us and the planet.
Wrote about Waymo's co-CEO acknowledging that even she thinks traffic violence is inevitable, what's wrong with aiming for "fewer" road deaths rather than demanding zero, and the way automobility limits our imagination and our empathy.
The False 'Trolley Problem' At the Heart of the Autonomous Vehicle Debate — Streetsblog USA
Waymo said it has a "plan" for when one of the company's cars kills someone. But we should be planning for a world when no car kills anyone — autonomous or not.

The cubes again!! What do they think will happen with a builders remedy?!
It’s cool how people just constantly lie about what the Family Zoning Plan will actually do

Turning your back on politics is simply not an option in this moment. If you don't like what you see happening, get *more involved*. Become a PCP with your local Dem group. Take over the local party and push them in a better direction. Run for something.

Peaky and fun Ocean Beach, beautiful sunny day, people out on bikes everywhere... in this hellscape we call San Francisco.

The way all of these people convinced themselves that Mamdani is antisemitic is a subject far more worthy of media examination than any of the ‘groupthink on campuses!’ thinkpieces we’ve been subjected to
November 5, 2025 at 8:58 PM
Mamdani is a glimmer of hope against a corrupt and feckless dem establishment devoid of ideas.

But word of caution

Mamdani is not proof that everyone, including the entire nation, espouses your particular world view.

Toronto outplayed the Dodgers overall in hitting pitching etc. but tbh the fatal error was ripping out those bike lanes.

Of course I'm a fan of the Dodgers. I followed them this whole season. I named my first born son Dodger. Touch down!

The constant churn of auditions for the most acceptable and viable form of white nationalism continues.
America has no idea what's about to hit them. "Young Republicans" are fully steeped in neo-Nazi edge lord talking points. Fuentes is the present and future of the GOP. After Trump, this is the new form of MAGA. The establishment isn't built for this fight.

And, really, there's nothing misrepresented in the ad. If anything Reagan goes even harder in favor of free trade. Yes, the context is the retaliatory tariffs he's issuing on certain Japanese products, but he's explaining why and why he hopes to get rid of them soon. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5t5Q...

It’s official: I’m running for Congress to represent San Francisco!

I’ll fight for our city – against Trump’s takeover, for our values, & for real progress. I’ve delivered on housing, healthcare, clean energy, & civil rights – & I’ll do it again.

Let’s build the future our city & country deserve.
