Tim Cook, the head of Apple, is having a nice dinner with MBS, who regularly orders executions, including for tweets.

Apple hosts "a Saudi app that allows men to track the movement of their wives and daughters. In 2019, Mr. Cook said he would investigate the app, but it is still available today."

A lot of the (often quite powerful!) guys emailing Epstein were asking him for dating advice, which seems to suggest that they saw his own sex life as aspirational.
The emails have Summers reporting to Epstein about his attempts to date a Harvard economics student & to hit on her during a seminar she was giving.

Happening now: at Kedzie and 40th, where Border Patrol agents just opened fire on rapid response this afternoon. A woman CFD says they found after the incident is reported in fair condition.

A growing number of outraged neighbors have gathered across from ICE/CBP agents who have closed Kedzie.

How out of touch can Donald Trump’s top economic adviser be?

A 60-year-old couple making $85k/year will have to pay over $22,000 more EVERY YEAR.

TWENTY TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS.

Texas State Rep. Ann Johnson clapped back at GOP members amid Wednesday's redistricting vote.

WHITE WOMEN, this is the model. We have more power than others. We are the last to be silenced. We have a responsibility to SPEAK so others are HEARD.

one question to ask the editorial board is whether there is a minimum bar for what constitutes "american democracy." if most people in most states are gerrymandered out of effective political representation, is that democracy?

You don’t have to put the military at every polling site to suppress votes.

You don’t even have to put the military at any polling sites to suppress votes.

All you have to do is roll a bunch of tanks into Atlanta or Detroit or wherever a few days before an election and see what happens
To put two soldiers at every US voting site would require over half of the active duty Army. To put two military personnel at 10% of polling sites would require about 25,000 personnel, or 1 of every 7 active duty Marines. And to do logistics, transportation, targeting etc might require another 20K
Before we even get to the transition: How will the next federal election go?

Under the Trump admin’s current view of the “protective principle,” it’s not hard to imagine military forces being deployed to polling places under the guise of “protecting” the administration of a federal election.

1) Yet another news-break by student journalists (this time @theharvardcrimson.bsky.social) www.thecrimson.com/article/2025...

2) Harvard saying "see you in court," not "let's make a deal."

3) Per Garber, WH/MAGA leaked news of a "deal." NYT then ran with it.

Gaza is starving. Where are the American Jewish leaders?
A fear of being labelled antisemitic still deters American Jews and Jewish institutions from taking a position that is morally correct.
