It’s cold enough for a fire in the fireplace and nobody else is home so I can finish watching the first four episodes of Stranger Things 5! #StrangerThings I totally have a lotta mixed opinions about this show, but I’m in too deep to stop now! 🙀

I have seen some influencer accounts calling for various types of workers to go on strike, or suggesting a boycott the workers have not asked for.

Don’t do that. Listen to the workers

We MUST pass legislation to make it illegal for members of Congress to trade stocks. Dems are also responsible for this and it has to stop.

The regents are great business minds, now it looks like we'll be paying two presidents until 2032

But I can't get a raise without my union threatening to strike?

it's important this go as viral as the original story for morale purposes if nothing else. despite the image they project these people are NOT unaccountable. consequences CAN be forced. focused anger and outrage MATTERS.

This is why I give money to the ACLU, so they can sue the gov’t and get answers, but boyyyy what a doozy of a response: “There are no legal consequences to the termination of a SEVIS record.”

Like, they didn’t terminate the visa, just the record of a visa!?

That research is important and helps us understand the world better. Calling it "making transgender mice" is stupid and comes from a place of wanting a society that does not contain trans people.

I'm not sure that being wrong about the "transgenic/transgender" thing helps, though.
