Apparently the guiding principle of the Democratic party at the moment appears to be that it is preferable to let thousands of Americans die from lack of medical coverage than to have any kind of awkwardness with their conservative coworkers due to disagreement.

Honestly, what I've learned over time is that in order to truly be intelligent, you HAVE to be humble. You have to be able to admit you don't know something before you can learn it. I hate that modern schooling teaches us to be embarrassed for not knowing something.
