Colorado became the first state to mandate polling places inside all county jails—and turnout among voters who were detained in jails skyrocketed.

It grew by roughly 900% between 2022 and 2024.
Jail Voting Soars in Colorado After State Mandates Polling Places in County Lockups
Local officials had claimed they were already giving detained people ballot access, but the first-in-the-nation mandate forced their hands and increased turnout across the state.

Yuanxin, the 6 year old kidnapped by ICE earlier this week, has been located in the Office of Refugee Resettlement.

This is also where they sent Emmanuel Garcia, the 15 year old autistic boy who went missing in Texas.

It took his mother 50 days to get him back.

We must get Yuanxin out faster.

I know so many great people who are doing so much. If you are isolated from people who are trying their best, I can understand feeling like no one's doing anything, but really, you just need to find the people who are trying and try with them — or maybe encourage some new folks to try alongside you.

should not be complicated to grasp that we cannot have war crimes without a war — but we can and we do have murder, and when we've programmatically murdered scores of victims we have mass murder

The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

The first step toward reforming an institution like SCOTUS is exposing its corruption. The goal is to discredit it enough so that politicians feel compelled to act. These district court rulings do just that, in a very visceral way.
It's good—very good, and very important—that district courts keep issuing these 100-page rulings upholding the law. It must be incredibly dispiriting to see them overturned in a two-page, lawless, unsigned order, but please, keep them coming. They expose SCOTUS' corruption like nothing else.

High schools teach the Constitution as some miraculous perfect document but as an instrument of democracy it’s deeply flawed. We’ve learned a lot about how to run a government in 240 years.
The U.S. is the only democracy in the world with:

- Lifetime terms for high court judges
- An electoral college for choosing an executive
- A legislative chamber where legislative minorities routinely and permanently thwart legislative majorities
- 75% requirements for constitutional amendments
