Who will do the reining-in and overhauling, Chuck? Who will hold them accountable when they ignore new 'rules.' They're *already* violating laws and the peoples' constitutional rights on a daily basis.
The Senate is scheduled to take the first procedural vote on a funding package including DHS funding tomorrow.

Two sources at US embassy in Rome confirmed ICE participation at the Milano-Cortina Olympic Games 2026; and said that “federal ICE agents would support diplomatic security details (Rubio and Vance) and would not run any immigration enforcement operations”. This has been also confirmed by AP.

After Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine, a friend in Moscow was going to protests and getting detained at them. He typically got released with a court date and then fined. One evening an FSB guy visited him at his home to tell him he should stop going to protests. Police-state shit.
