Go to your doctor and get your measles titers checked to make sure you are still immune and if not get re-vaccinated. It’s more and more likely all of us are going to eventually come in contact with it.
The thing about measles is that it’s the only known virus that triggers immune amnesia - it causes your immune system to forget everything it has previously learned. Meaning you essentially reset to zero and are now at risk of basically everything.
It can take 2-3 years to get immunities back.

Oh my god… using actual physical trinkets with the Mausritter character sheet has been an option this whole time
It's super fun to use that Inventory System. One thing we had a blast with was just raiding the "Junk Drawer" for miscellaneous things to make up the Gear:

3M Aura N95s are on sale for $30 per giant box right now, so I bought one to distribute. They went SO fast. Between cost of masks and shipping it only cost me $100 to give 9 individual families and 1 local organization 440 masks. It was not much work and relatively little money and it felt good.

Just to emphasize this: this has been a solved problem in RPG design for over two decades. In enough different ways to provide a laundry list of options.
It’s cool if you don’t WANT your game to do it, but there’s nothing requiring it be so.

You also need to understand that if your immediate reaction to those two examples was "wait, those actually make sense because Having One Character Who's More Powerful Than Other Characters Is Always Bad", you are very much part of the problem.
