This adorable little doofus, despite all the anxiety, pulled scent-hound duty and found a missing pup tonight!
Why is everyone yelling?!?

“Assuming this is simple would be a huge mistake”
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"Will this make the reader throw up in their mouth a little?"

Do you understand how fucking angry a Midwest white woman has to be to tell you to raise hell in her name?!?
“If I am killed doing this, throw my body at the White House, martyr the shit out of me & raise hell. Do not be sad. Do not think I would do anything differently. I would do it over & over again — this is too important to sit down & shut up and not do anything.” www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...
Pursued by federal agents, suburban ICE observers remain resolved

AUSAs, unironically, only do this when they’re really distressed.
This is unreal. An AUSA talking like that in open court is about as close as you can come to a total breakdown. Never heard of anything like it.

You're going to see almost every american lawyer on here share this opinion and order because it is the judicial equivalent of lighting the beacons of minas tirith

“With a judicial finger in the constitutional dike” made my jaw drop. This man is *furious.* This is the judicial equivalent of watching Minnesota PTA moms scream ‘get the fuck out’ at ICE agents.
Judge Biery signed the order with a photo of Liam and two bible verses: The first is "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." The second is simply "Jesus wept."

Astonishing thing for a judge to do.

I’m so tired of being a competent adult. I want to be a cat who gets to sit in the sun in a bay window all day, with brief breaks to knock things off tables and yell at nearby humans because I can see the bottom of my food bowl.

The government *can* get your Signal messages if they want to.

It is expensive and hard to conceal, and burns capabilities they are not going to burn on 99.9% of people. You are far more likely to be compromised by having your/a comrade’s phone confiscated and biometrics used to unlock it.
I think it is *incredibly* irresponsible for someone like @stonekettle.bsky.social, with a huge following, to claim that Signal is just as insecure as texts or other public social media.

This is a classic “making perfect the enemy of the good” error.

IQ is a meaningless measure, so I don’t care to try and claim anything about mine, but I *am* neurodivergent and very overwhelmed by loud noises. Airports in particular are like hell to me.

You know what I don’t do when I’m in an airport? Tackle someone to the ground and murder them.
Whistles are now WMDs, according to the "high IQ" crowd.

“We will bury them beneath the new world in our hearts.”

I think of all the hopeful tears I’ve cried today, these are the most hopeful.
In response to ICE agents murdering Alex Pretti, the Whittier neighborhood immediately rose up and battled ICE, Minnesota police, and Minnesota State Troopers for over four hours, eventually forcing them to withdraw from the area.

An eyewitness account.

Federal agents were assaulting women: striking them, shoving them to the ground, pepper spraying them.

Alex Pretti acted in solidarity with those women rather than in loyalty to other men who had strength of arms and state power. A betrayal to white supremacist patriarchy he was murdered for.

It is not your duty to finish the work, but neither are you free to abandon it
It can be a hard pill to swallow but you have to accept that while you will prevail in this struggle, you may not be there to witness it.
Nonviolence is, in fact, working. This administration is weaker than it was a year ago. More and more of the public is becoming galvanized against it; its agents are being impeded.

“War, as it is conceived of today, is a conflict between states. It is a contest to see who can use violence to force another actor to concede the monopoly on legitimate political violence in an area.”

I need y’all to understand just how much being outside in -10 degree weather is *physically painful.* Even if only your eyeballs are exposed, they will hurt within minutes. Your lungs will ache just from breathing air that cold.

The only way you stay out there is if staying inside hurts worse.
it is -10 here and my state showed the fuck up. 🙌
