The idea that education is intended for girls and disadvantages boys is beyond ridiculous. Look at the history of education and how girls and women were prevented from accessing it. Girls are still penalized today for showing too many inches of skin because it’s a “distraction” to the boys

This isn't unique to trans care, but trans care is a pretty notable case of the phenomenon "guys who go against international research just get to decide that the gold standard healthcare for this patient group should be done less, and the government says 'sure thing, you're the expert!'"
The thing about long gender clinic wait times however is that the people running them see it as their DUTY to delay care, and in fact that's the primary function of having to see a therapist with no expertise on trans people multiple times before getting care

I understand where people are coming from when they say we shouldn't be calling some of these removals deportations, but politically speaking, freighting the word "deportation" in voters' minds with some of these heinous examples is probably a good thing.
