We need mandatory disability education K-12.
Because too many grown-ass adults think being disabled is this all-or-nothing state and that you just magically get this government benefit card and all this support.
Disability is an *incredibly* wide spectrum beyond “gets benefits” and “doesn’t”.

"trans-identifying", "biological sex", and a variety of other GC dogwhistles have become common parlance because people listen to our enemies, but not us.

Whole ass nation states are attempting to confine trans people to the home—preventing us from using the toilet, playing sports or accessing medical care without exposure to violence—on the basis that “changing your sex is impossible” so if you’re saying that to trans people too, meet your allies.

This is why trans people take the NYT Opinion section so seriously when we shouldn't have to: it's composed of reactionaries who prize being the smartest person at a cocktail party above all else, and their incessant attacks on trans people have pushed many Democrats to believe we're not even human.
Last week NYT Opinion shifted to suddenly run a bunch of "Gosh, this stuff in Gaza seems really bad, have you seen how bad this is?" content and political elites are absolutely taking cues from their preferred media elites. It was a bat signal: "Time to start salvaging your reputation on this one."
