i think it is ok to reiterate that the victim as a us citizen. yes, noncitizens are equally entitled to human rights. but also, it's important to illustrate how ice isn't about immigration at all

my hot take is that I don't think it's this website specifically that's toxic. the Circumstances are toxic and nobody really knows what to do about it so they come online and scream. and if I may offer an alternative: actually going outside and screaming feels better.

The worst death I ever was involved in was a previously healthy child who was otherwise immunized.
No one was antivax, family just hadn’t gotten around to getting the flu vaccine that year.
Absolutely tragic.
