The way Charlie has been championing tabletop coverage for the last few years has been so important for the entire hobby.
I am no longer with Polygon, my home for nearly 13 years. I am proud of what my colleagues and I have accomplished over that period, and I am especially proud of the role the @voxmediaunion.bsky.social and @wgaeast.bsky.social played in it all. Organize. Now. I am immediately available for hire.

Getting a job in games media seemed almost unattainable when I broke in back in 2005. In the years since, it’s become almost impossible and ultimately inadvisable. I can’t imagine trying to break in today.
Independent is pretty much the only option now. Support your favorite creators directly.
