As someone who grew up in the Great Lakes watershed, this makes me very worried about what the future could hold for the protection of what Trump probably only sees as a resource to be exploited.
Trump: "I'm signing an executive order to open up the pumps and valves in the north. We want to get that water pouring down here as quickly as possible ... you're talking about unlimited water coming up from the Pacific Northwest, even coming from parts of Canada."

Just watched the first episode of Winter Palace, a Netflix collaboration with the French-speaking Swiss public television, and it's so Swiss 😂 Definitely worth a watch if you like light, kind of goofy period series.
