this is gross for all the obvious reasons, but if you didn’t see the decidedly mid live action “Beauty & the Beast,” I would argue that one of its few real upgrades (along with adding “If I Can’t Love Her”) is that Gaston is actually quite menacing right away and harder to laugh off, which I liked
