Around the year 1900,
18% of American children died before the age of 5.
Plus, their premature deaths haunted their families.

Vaccination knocked that death rate below 1%.

💉 Science saves children and families.

What was childhood like before vaccines?
The anti-vax movement has gone mainstream, but before these shots, grief and loss marked the lives of children.

Kudos to the Brown University students who are posting continuous live updates, spaced just minutes apart, on the campus shooting. A lot of grace and professionalism under immense pressure.

This! ❤️ to all my fellow exhausted nerds.
Started rewatching the entire Stranger Things series. It’s a good reminder that it takes a group of exhausted nerds to save the world.

So good morning to all the nerds out there. We know you’re tired so rest when you need to, then get back to saving the universe.🤓

I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.

Republicans worried that steep Medicaid cuts in their big tax bill would shutter rural hospitals. To pass it, they included a $50B rural health care fund.

But a very different group of hospitals will bear the brunt of the law: large urban safety-net hospitals.

Determining a patient's "vitality age" by ECG is not a thing that is even possible. No legitimate physician would write this.
Guess who just got both the updated COVID vaccine and flu shots today? Your dear Leader Trump. Maybe you should get them too.
