Yeah, these aren't jokes; this isn't funny.
The last three times I've been to an infusion clinic for MS treatment--a clinic where they also do chemo--the nurses were all either dicknosing or fully unmasked. This is a clinic full of immunocompromised people, and they think that's okay.

Disappointed to see Jon Stewart & co joke about masking in public. I do it for my medically fragile daughter (Batten Disease). People not masking properly led to her getting pneumonia, which led to her being on life support, which led to me getting price quotes on her cremation just in case.

A Hampton Inn in Asheville just canceled my family's reservation because our address (incorrectly) showed Asheville—and the hotel bars locals within 50 miles.

I keep thinking about how terrible it is that so many people will be losing their health insurance in January due to costs and cuts. I was rejected from insurance once before the ACA [preexisting conditions]. I was hospitalized that year and it almost bankrupted me. We need universal heathcare ASAP.
