Ok then, by the same token he shouldn’t be permitted to lose his riding, cause a democratically elected MP to give up his seat in order to force a by election so as party leader he has a seat in parliament & work in the house of parliament. His argument is nonsense and reeks of sour grapes.

And #Alberta: there are MORE progressives here than there are socially conservative separatists. That’s why the legislation was rammed though. Remember that, and get involved to stop this mismanagement any way you can (it doesn’t just have to be in the political sphere).
If I’m being honest, as someone who was born here, I think this garbage has always existed in AB. The realization that there was a huge block of unified, reasonable, progressive voters in this province has shaken the wild-wild-westerners to their core and this is the rearing of that ugly head.
