There is so much we are all carrying, but a small share. The first 2 pages of the opening story in Nafissa's Heads of the Colored People, are two of the smartest, interesting, stylin', and best written in the past 25 yrs. Reading them for the 4th-ish time, I'm still blown away by their brilliance.
