Experimented with hand piping with royal icing this year. We used King Arthur’s sugar cookie mix and royal icing mix, and it turned out much better than the time we tried to make royal icing ourselves. It tasted good too! Would recommend!

There's a bag of dry cat food sitting on our counter. We purchased it for the pet food drive at the lantern walk this weekend, and then forgot we left it there. Biro has not touched it! At this point I'm leaving it there to see if he will get into it eventually and to remind us to take it. (1/2)

Sitting here making blueberry muffins for a finals snack break event tomorrow for students and suddenly wishing I had a weekend to recover from my weekend.
