If I was head of the WI and an 80 year old trans woman told me it was the only place she'd ever felt respected as a woman, and the British State told me she wasn't allowed to bebin the WI any more, I'd be putting out a public statement declaring the WI to now be an armed guerilla organisation.

don't fall for the trap of explaining yet again St George wasn't English and the British flag was used to exploit the world. They know. But this is the conversation they would prefer us to have endlessly. The flags are a proxy because they'd get arrested if they said 'GO HOME'. This is the issue.

am probably sicker than i ever remember being in my life before rn, in constant agony, shivery all over, headache, earache, vomiting, the whole works, but also my GF is holding my hair back as a vomit which is a very gender affirming situation to be in so there's a silver lining.

This reminds me of a conversation I saw from a British lib dem about how it was reasonable to obey British supreme Court anti-trans law because otherwise they'd lose too much money fighting legal challenges. So instead they chose to comply in advance. This person is trans.
