The thing is we've known that housing the homeless is cheaper than neglect, we've known that Ubi is effective at eliminating poverty, we've known that heavily subsidized housing and education leads people into the middle class, we've known all of these things in some cases for 70 years.
“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”

It costs a lot less to house people.
Finland ends homelessness and provides shelter for all in need - scoop.me
In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Why? The country applies the "Housing First" concept agains homelessness.

Only an administration intent on committing war crimes in the present and future would stoop to calling Wounded Knee a "battle" rather than what it truly was: a massacre of over 250 Lakotas, mainly women, children, and the elderly. 1/

Doug Ford’s Bill 5 is an attempt to aggressively fast-track resource extraction in Ontario.

It bulldozes Indigenous rights, the environment, workers, and democracy—and is a gift to the corporate elite.

Bills 50, 51, and 54 are about one thing: making it harder for Albertans to hold them accountable. We deserve better. #ableg #abpoli

It destroys all the lies IDF came up with.

This is what they do over and over again.

They commit an atrocity, lie, then the Western media treats their lie as credible.

(I love the Miocene, but we're not prepared to live in it!)
For the first time ever, recorded atmospheric CO₂ has exceeded 430ppm! The last time CO₂ consistently reached today’s human-driven levels was ∼14 Million years ago, with shorter periods of similar levels around 3-5 Million years ago.
