I basically just separated his features into their own layer and then filled in his face to make it blank, in order to have unlimited power with the canvas that is his head

For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

There’s a lesson here about writing in the age of weaponized lies: Always precede false claims with giant red text, ideally wrapped in a <blink> tag, that says “THIS IS A LIE I AM REFUTING!!”

It's not uncommon for my college students to recapitulate some author's claim as "X" when in fact the author spelled out the claim "X" only to refute it. Its a basic reading error! Grounded, it appears, in a psychological tendency to want to believe the thing that seems au courant.
