<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair is not being considered for membership on a “board of peace” for Gaza chaired by US President Donald Trump, the Financial Times reported on Monday.</p>
<p>Blair's name was dropped as a result of pressure from several Arab and Muslim states, the paper reported. </p>
<p>The "Board of Peace's" status is not clear. Although the idea received much media coverage, few details ever emerged about it. Other elements of Trump's Gaza peace plan, like an international stabilization force, appear to have stalled. </p>
<p>One person in Blair's office who spoke with the FT, said that only "serving world leaders" will be on the so-called board and a smaller executive board will function under it, which will include Blair, along with Jared Kushner, the US President's son-in-law and Trump adviser Steve Witkoff. </p>
<p>Neither Witkoff nor Kushner have not visited Israel in recent weeks. Most of their oversea's travel has been geared toward negotiations with Russia and Ukraine. </p>

Good morning! I’m currently at Beaverton High School in OR where a mass student walk out has just started to demand a proactive ICE protocol for their school and district.
Students say that similar walkouts were planned at multiple other high schools, including Aloha, Sunset, Southridge & more.

What makes me angriest about the fake AI videos where people yell at ICE is that there’s a million actual videos, there’s actual priests being pelted with pepper balls, it’s just that the real priest didn’t say “we worship the real God not your ORANGE one” so he wasn’t quippy enough

<p data-end="738" data-start="446">In a brief statement, the military said its forces “continue our activity in the northern West Bank and destroyed explosive devices and weapons in Jenin”. It added that troops were “continuing the process of demolishing buildings in the Jenin area and we have found a bomb-making laboratory”.</p>
<p data-end="1019" data-start="740">Israel has used similar claims to justify repeated incursions into Jenin, where bulldozers and armoured units routinely flatten homes, shops and roads. Palestinian residents say the army’s operations amount to collective punishment, with entire neighbourhoods left uninhabitable.</p>
