I was talking to someone recently who is arguing with a relative and they've been feeding that relatives texts into ChatGPT and asking it to generate responses back. I mentioned this to a friend who then told me they had a friend was doing the same thing.

And that's it, that's literally the use case! That's why all these billions spent!

Really interesting read
I wrote about Sinners.

Watching so many Black folk call the film "demonic", I explain how its central horror -- and triumph is that the film casts Black/African spirituality as an effective challenge to Western Christianity.

The state of Utah voted to ban pride flags so Salt Lake City Council decided to make official city flags that incorporate the progress pride, Juneteenth, and transgender flags so they can fly them without breaking state law
If approved, SLC would have 4 flag designs. It's current, as well as one tied to Progress Pride, Juneteenth and Transgender designs as seen here #utpol:

The US Postal Service works under what is called a “universal service obligation” to provide postal service to all Americans, regardless of location, at affordable prices. It is the only carrier that works under this obligation, and privatization would end that.

Total CO2 emissions are still rising.

It is necessary to reduce emissions drastically to zero to stop the temperature increasing. To keep below 1.5C is no longer feasible, but that does not mean give up, but try harder.

What if we took money from rich people and invested it back into research and infrastructure and our companies to compete with China instead of slashing taxes and cutting funding. That would be crazy right
