if only there had been a movement and momentum several years ago to downsize police budgets, clear out the white supremacists and de-militarize local law enforcement
The elephant in the room is that mayors and governors across the country have very good reason to question the loyalty and allegiances of the state and local police forces and that’s one of the impediments to doing anything about the current occupations

Republicans somehow managed to sprint from “we’re trying to protect women in sports” straight to defending a woman being shot in the head three times at point blank range for trying to drive away from a masked thug.

Incredible that people have careers based around telling those who are struggling to keep their chin up and not react because "They're clearly [doing worse thing than the last thing] to bait an excuse to [do even worse thing]."

It's a ratchet. You're describing a ratchet. You are selling ratchets.

People keep being murdered by the pigs, and the cops don't seem to actually be improving, they just get increased funding and body cams that conveniently don't work when they're doing something horrific.

State and local law enforcement know the communities they serve. They’ve built the trust and know how to keep us safe.

As Minnesotans express their first amendment rights, I encourage you to remain peaceful and know that local law enforcement has one goal in mind: your safety.

Trump is clearly not well.

At a meeting with oil industry CEO’s Trump suddenly interrupts his introductory remarks, gets up and looks out the window and starts talking about his ballroom. Trump then realizes his mistake and says “unusual time to look”, and sits back down to continue.

Megyn might believe she deserved to die for disliking ICE. But neither Megyn nor anyone else thinks she tried to run anyone over.

I can’t stress this enough. No one believes that. They all know what the job of fascism fans is and it’s to make this completely ludicrous argument.
Guess I’m just a babe in the woods but I’m still shocked at this reaction from Kelly, which is pretty typical for the right: it’s not even that this is a sad event with a regrettable loss of life, let alone an outrageous murder, but that she *deserved* to be shot in the face at point-blank range
Every day I’m glad I deleted my X account still encounter screenshots from there.

The wilful ignorance (there are videos online) and the Unamerican desire to live in a police state where people can be summarily executed by government officials is so abhorrent and alien to me.

1. The first thing that should be said about the fatal shooting in Minneapolis by a federal immigration officer is that the victim’s name is Renee Nicole Good.

Dangerous, reckless behavior. He should have been fired after this incident.
The case involved Ross punching out a man's window and tasing him while he attempted to drive away; the man shook him off his car, giving Ross injuries that required 33 stitches. The man called 911 to report that he'd been assaulted by ICE and was later convicted of assault on a federal officer.
