If you send someone home after a procedure and they return next day to A&E needing X-ray, CT scan, iv fluids, painkillers and anti-emetics then just maybe they should been kept in?
Spent about 8 hours in A&E with a friend who was sent home after a fairly serious procedure yesterday. If she had been kept in overnight this could all have been avoided. 😢
