The US attack on Venezuela is an illegal act of aggression against a sovereign country (with lots of oil). Venezuela has become a more deeply repressive dictatorship & urgently needs democratic solution but this is unjustified & unjustifiable. Look forward to seeing swift UK Government condemnation.

I admit it's true what people say, Quality Street isn't as good as it was in the 90s. But on the other hand look at the state of the Balkans then and the mostly thriving, relatively prosperous democracies down there now. So, you pick your battles really.

Majority governments are a pitiful excuse for democracy.

Today is the 4th anniversary of the worst ever tragedy in the Channel.
At least 27 men, women & children drowned in the freezing water, & 4 more have never been found.
Since then, neither we nor the French have done a thing to offer people in this situation with real solutions.
