The whole point of college football is that every game is the most important game of the season. Otherwise losing won’t cause the appropriate amount of misery. Without acute, unjustifiably insane misery this sport might as well be the NFL.

I just married the love of my life in my dream wedding this year. I’m on the verge of being able to move home to be near my family after 10 years away. For the first time in my adult life I’m so happy and content, I would really like to not die in WWIII. Please I just want to enjoy being alive.

My crankiest belief is that we are now being sold on solutions to problems which only exist because we've let others convince us they exist. That is what "innovation" seems to be in 2025.
