College football is America’s greatest sport and it isn’t close
The one thing I think non-Michigan people should know about times like this is that you can often get information before it's published elsewhere by following what a guy who goes by "Big Boutros" posts across multiple message boards

The whole point of college football is that every game is the most important game of the season. Otherwise losing won’t cause the appropriate amount of misery. Without acute, unjustifiably insane misery this sport might as well be the NFL.

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.

We have to win the narrative battle between "I live in a corrupt society and that's just how it is" and "I live in a corrupt society and we are going to defeat and humiliate these ghouls."
Good morning to Brazilian reporter Manuela Borges, who’s been waiting eleven years for this petty moment. ❤️ 🇧🇷

My most elitist take: you should have to pass a certification in order to use the self-checkout.

yearly reminder to people insisting that we view Christopher Columbus as "a man of his time" that *the people responsible for the Spanish Inquisition* thought Columbus was out of pocket
Christopher Columbus was dragged back to Spain in chains by a crusading knight, convicted of tyranny and immeasurable cruelty, pardoned by Isabella but banned from returning to Hispaniola.

Fuck Columbus.

This is the biggest attack on free speech since the McCarthy era but it also has significantly less popular consensus behind it than the second Red Scare. It's being done on behalf of a minority faction led by the most unpopular president in modern history. Organizing against this can win.

Third prototype in row that has ground to halt trying to build a decent inventory system UI. I’ve either got to push through and make a functional inventory UI or I’ve gotta stop coming up with games that require one. #sologamedev

I just married the love of my life in my dream wedding this year. I’m on the verge of being able to move home to be near my family after 10 years away. For the first time in my adult life I’m so happy and content, I would really like to not die in WWIII. Please I just want to enjoy being alive.

One of the biggest problems these days is that the minimum viable product, just becomes the product.

Once again it is time for the Met Gala, an event I completely understand and find enjoyment in as a result of said understanding. Love that everyone dresses up for the red carpet and then immediately gets down to the business of the Met Gala!

Hank Green’s idea on The Smartypants Society this week is the first idea I’ve ever seen on this show that I 100% unironically think that we, as a society, should definitely do.
Oh my god I can't believe they put me up against Paul on Smartypants...at least we know it'll be a good episode!!

My crankiest belief is that we are now being sold on solutions to problems which only exist because we've let others convince us they exist. That is what "innovation" seems to be in 2025.

There's a level of introspection that's just not happening these days re: what actually needs to bother us.
