Jacob Frey told ICE agents to get the fuck out of Minneapolis, a hugely popular viral moment, and the media has been browbeating him over it ever since. Trump flipped a guy off and told him fuck you and it’s barely acknowledged.

One of the shitty things about the racist and anti-lgbtq extremist direction of this administration (and all those like them) is people and corporations quit celebrating, or even supporting, marginalized people to avoid 'trouble.'

Fuck trouble. Fuck bigots.

Raise your voice.

“But what do you expect Democrats to doo-hooo?”

1) Refuse to fund this criminal government anymore.

2) EVERY one of them call to abolish ICE (and bonus, DHS). No more “they need training” shit. Promise prosecutions.

3) EVERY one of them call for Trump’s impeachment, relentlessly, EVERY day.

It's only really filtering though my brain what a massive blow the banning of X would be to the UK GC movement.

*Massive*

Mainly what's different than when Scott Adams imminent death became news is ICE killed someone in cold blood and more people rise up in outrage than ever did for Charlie Kirk, and I don't think the right knows what to do with that

Absolutely.

They are ideologues, not strategists, and their entire approach to governance is just shoving shit down everyone's throat and telling them to shut up and take it.

They think they have infinite shit shoving strength and our throats have infinite shit capacity, and.

Nope to both.
Stephen Miller has never had this much power. Nor has Vought.
I wonder if they’re sucking their own exhaust too hard, disoriented with having all this juice and not realizing the tank can drain fast.

Trump's strategy has always been to work the media through provocation.

Any time the narrative is looking bad for him, he does something so extreme that it pulls focus.

But once you're executing white moms in the street and declaring war on three fronts, what's left?

Where do you escalate to?
On the verge of infuriating the tech bros, threatening their ability to do business in the EU because... Greenland?

Trying to strong arm the oil lobby into questionable overseas extraction projects?

Coming for the dollar with a knife with the Powell shit?

All against the backdrop of MN
Certainly I could be wrong and it would not be the first time.

But it sure feels like the regime is way out over its skis here

Paramount's temper tantrums at Warner Bros. repeatedly refusing their bids to buy them - even after they started a stupid, unnecessary sale in the first place - is really quite staggeringly pathetic.

If there is any justice in this world, ICE won't exist long enough for it to be possible for them to *put in* five years of service
I just found out last night that the $50k enrollment bonus only pays out after 5 years of service, and reader, the laugh I let out when I read that woke the dog from across the house. These absolute fucking grapes aren't seeing a dime of that money. No way they can ride out 5 years of this job.
ICE recruitment is going well.

We are almost A FULL YEAR from release. They don't even have an assembly cut yet. Nobody, NOT EVEN THE FILMMAKERS, know how long it will be.

Be a little more critical and a little more savvy.

I'm not the first to say this but they think the chuds and perverts on X are representative of the US populace.

I really don't think it's registered for them that today's X isn't the US public square "freed" from ToS "censorship."

They treat that site as the voice of the people, and. Nope
The response to the ICE killing of Renee Nicole Good is not what the White House was expecting.

Like with their hiding of the Epstein files, part of the fundamental problem they are facing is that the stories the Trump administration has built their movement on are being shown for their emptiness.

PS about the oil thing:

Traditionally, when business is good and things are being made and shipped and people are going to and from work, oil prices rise. It's been a leading economic indicator. When oil is down, things are probably bad.

Oil prices are currently almost at their pandemic lows.
This, like the flat and possibly declining price of oil, shows how we're in a phantom economy.

Businesses saw a way to lie about layoffs without worrying investors, so they lied. All those big big numbers making line go up are a fantasy.
AI layoffs are looking more and more like corporate fiction that's masking a darker reality, Oxford Economics suggests | Fortune
"Firms don't appear to be replacing workers with AI on a significant scale," the firm said. It suspects some are trying to "dress up layoffs" as good news.
