Extremely feel this. My group shares a lot of scheming above table because dramatic irony can be so much fun, but maaaan does it make this so much truer when I have to shut my trap.

Seeing a surge in "pro-China" sentiment following the increasing open distrust of the US. It's bordering on Sinotopian in the other place.

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

The arguments I have received from the pro-ICE world are “it all happened so fast” but looking down your barrel through an open window at the side of a person’s head and pulling the trigger is murder.
If this is accurate, Good was killed by a bullet fired after there was any conceivable argument Agent Ross was in the path of her vehicle, which means there was no legal justification for using deadly force. But DOJ says there’s no reason to investigate.

I and trans writers before me have gone repeatedly into tracing the trajectory of the 2010s, where we went from the first bathroom bill in NC resulting mass boycotts to over 1000 anti-trans bills being introduced by 2025.
