Every rich person is going to tell *you* how great AI teaching is while sending *their* kids to the kind of schooling the Ancient Greeks would recognize. I just wish everyone would think about why that is.
I think we’re on the cusp of mass attempts to automate teaching, and I also think it is going to be a massive wasteful failure in ways that will make the “learning loss” of the pandemic look like a speed bump next to a mountain.

I’m not even sure how “AI” is a distinct phenomena from “big data”, rather than a continuation of literally the same systems, technical practices, social assemblages, economic logics, social harms, etc, just with slightly more advanced algorithms that also continue on from what was already in use

Acho que o 180 nas tarifas americanas diz, de forma bem clara, que as tarifas eram apenas um esquema de enriquecimento rápido. Um buy the dip estratégico para a classe económica que soube aproveitar. E +: o facto de muitas empresas grandes terem queixado pouco diz-me que era a suspeita delas tbm
