Rob Reiner's directing run was elite, but I grew up watching All in the Family and Reiner will always be Meathead, the hippie son in law my dad loved for his Kramer-like antics and his leftist politics. Reiner made him so lovably daffy and sympathetic. As an actor & filmmaker, a humanist. RIP.

For years I’ve been trying to get someone at DC or Marvel to create an art book titled “Lichtenstein in Context” reprinting the stories he plagiarized as RL would have seen them (no modern recoloring) and giving the proceeds to the artists or their families. Sell it in museum gift shops.
