E-scooters should be banned.

Just spent a few weeks in Copenhagen. Barely saw any e-scooters. We don't need them.

What we need is good quality active transport infrastructure so that everyone can cycle safely!

That’s one hell of an article title. And one hell of an image in the article.

“Call to drop Range Rover sponsorship of Wimbledon as SUVs 82% more likely to kill children.”

Good idea.

Yesterday, @david-smyth-eco.bsky.social showed me around the @irishwoodlandtrust.bsky.social's new 80-acre reserve, including about 30 of Atlantic rainforest, Coill Sheanadh Gharráin near Spiddal, Galway.

No words could do justice to the magic of the place. I was awestruck.

Never forget, the truth about a city’s aspirations isn’t found in its vision. It’s found in its budget.

I’ve been trumpeting this important message for many years, but what’s important is we’re writing policy into city plans that specifically REQUIRE the transparent alignment of vision and budget.

Our regular reminder that when we’re driving, we’re not stuck in traffic.

We ARE traffic.

That’s a product of our individual choices, as well as our collective choices, including who we choose to give massive city-building powers to and the choices they make with that power.

Sure there are legitimate critiques but this is not about critiques. It's about supercharging capitalism's culture of uncare.
