Now that I’ve worked out how to pin a post… No DMs unless I know you well/frequently interact with you, or it’s a genuine writing/editing opportunity. I’m autistic and find small talk scary IRL so won’t do it here. Thank you for respecting my wishes.

Sometimes I put in an absurdly low bid on an eBay auction with the certainty that I definitely won't get it but also a vanishingly slim hope that MAYBE by some miracle nobody else will bid. Anyway that is how I ended up adding this magnificent glass plate negative to my collection! No date/info.

Spiderella’s Daughter has once again outsmarted a much bigger spider and lives on. Not sure Wandering Willy has enjoyed the same fate. The bigger spider is Lily O’ The Light, who I rescued from going in perpetual circles yesterday. #BedroomSpiderUpdate 🕷️

They’ve done our car twice in the last year. We now use fox repellent, but also encourage Magnus to wee on it every time he goes by.
Nature strikes back! Apparently Dublin foxes are snacking on new cars’ guts. The solution to this is to get a wolf or, more helpfully, ask the zoo for wolf urine. A little goes a long way, & foxes don’t tangle with wolves.

Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.
