Great day to show what you believe in. Speak your truth. Show you are prepared to fight against authoritarian rule. If you’re marching, having a teach-in,organizing, or resting for future battles, do it with the conviction that we will not give in, that we stand on the side of justice. And stay safe.

I think this moment of people feeling nervous about something and doing it anyway could prove quite liberating and profound
My mother-in-law was nervous about wearing her #NoKings gear to the airport for her flight this morning, but she got *lots* of compliments. Even the TSA agent told her, "I like your shirt."

Hi, I'm the ProPublica reporter who's been tracking an unusual stat: U.S. citizens grabbed by immigration agents.

I did it because the government isn’t.

This is what I found.

I can’t help but think today about how many young people were savaged on social media, branded as anti-semites and abandoned by their schools for daring to call for a ceasefire. I remember saying that it was the first time I can remember that calling for ceasefire was regarded as a hostile demand.

AIPAC messes in Dem primaries and also bankrolled 109 GOP election-deniers. No self-respecting Dem candidate should meet with them let alone take their money. If you want a Dem Party that fights back, get AIPAC out of our primaries - and support candidates brave enough to take them on.
It’s official: AIPAC is trying to buy my election to keep me out of Congress.

Apparently, I’m a “dangerous detractor”... by believing Palestinians (like myself and my family) deserve basic human rights.

But we’re not going to let AIPAC win.

A disgraceful story. The absolute disregard and hostility the power centers of our country exhibit towards young people is part of the story of this time.

And the NYT caught the car on affirmative action. So now begins the process of retroactively excavating race-conscious admissions. Awful.
You know, when I heard that all of our personal data had been hacked, I didn't expect the first major use of it to be the NYT trying to fuck over Zohran but maybe I'm naive www.nytimes.com/2025/07/03/n...

Looking damn good for Mamdani tonight.

It would be a historic victory in New York,

And it could hugely impact transgender New Yorkers.

Story to potentially come soon, but for now, let’s watch it play out.

Because the reporting across outlets hasn’t mentioned it I want to stress that Justice Jackson referenced the courageous & resolute stance of federal judges J. Shelly Wright in Louisiana and Frank Johnson in Alabama who issued school desegregation orders in the face of “Massive Resistance” to Brown.
Powerful remarks from Justice KBJ last night. There was tremendous appreciation and gratitude in the room for her willingness to speak to this important issue so candidly and forcefully.
