Alas, a rejection from one of the agents I was really hoping for. Sometimes I forget how disheartening this whole process is. I'm trying to hold out hope for at least a full manuscript request from one of the others, but dang. Ya notgirl needs a win. #amquerying

Today I made one of those scratch art things that come with a picture pre-printed on them! Good way to kill an hour or two, and now I have shiny duckies hanging out on my kitchen

Tiny, but elegant. A Holm's hermit wears a checkered periwinkle shell. These are small intertidal hermits; full grown, they measure under 1 cm. toe to toe. The periwinkles live in the high intertidal zone. #VancouverIsland #HermitCrabs #IntertidalInvertebrates #Invertebrates #MarineLife #DailyHermit
