Video game characters are not actually real. They don’t bleed, they can’t get their feelings hurt, they can’t be betrayed because they are a collection of pixels and code and words and sound files.
The game devs I’m lucky to work with are real people who deserve at least basic human respect.

I don’t give a shit that in April my vibe was “Sloppy Psychadelic Ska Yacht Rock.”

Fanfiction etiquette is incredibly simple, actually. Don't like it, don't read it. No one is forcing you to, which is why it looks ridiculous to complain about it, especially if you were content warned. AO3 tags + "exclude" is one of the greatest reading tools ever. Use them properly and voila!

Can I just ask. Why do RPGs continue to refuse to allow your characters to visibly, visually /sheath or holster/ their weapons, instead continuing to do this thing where they just hang vaguely attached (if they don't clip into thin air or into their backs) to your character's back when "holstered"
